Shabonee PTA 2022-2023 Committee Sign-Up
The Shabonee PTA needs your help for the 2022-2023 school year!  

We are looking for Committee Co-Chairs and Committee Members (Co-Chairs lead the efforts, Members help execute the details).  Please sign up for the committee(s) that captures your interest.  No worries if you don't know what to do, someone will be there to help you and answer questions along the way.

This Committee Sign Up contains the currently available committees and will be updated as Committee Co-Chair and Member spots are filled.

Please note that if there is no interest, there may not be a committee.  We will email you to confirm committee assignments.

Book Fair - Help plan, publicize and execute the Scholastic Book Fair which typically runs during Parent Teacher conferences.
Family Night - Plan, publicize, and implement PTA Family Nights (3 per year).  Family nights are typically held in September, January (movie night pre-Covid), and April.
Fundraising - Develop and organize fundraising opportunities for Shabonee and D27, including Tasty Tuesday fundraisers and the Shabonee Flower Gram event.
Spiritwear - Selects styles, items, orders, sells spiritwear and other promotional items throughout the year. Work to secure best prices from vendors.
Staff Appreciation - Plans and manages "Welcome Back" (Aug) and "Holiday" (Dec) events for teachers & staff. Plans and coordinates daily activities for Teacher Appreciation Week in May.
Yearbook - Help with the layout, design, photography, copy and overall production of the annual yearbook.
